Musée national de Guinée, Conakry

In 2024, the AFD, working alongside Guinea’s Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts, is launching a feasibility study for the refurbishment and extension of the country’s national museum (MNG). The MNG, also known as the Sandervalia Museum, is the country’s main cultural centre, dedicated to the conservation and promotion of Guinea’s heritage. Hardel Le Bihan designed the architectural and landscape project in collaboration with the engineering firm Assemblage Ingénierie, alongside the development of the cultural project led by Kanju (Jean-François Chougnet) and Céline Danion to curate the collections.
