School of medicine, Paris
Located on the Pitié-Salpêtrière campus of Paris-Sorbonne University, at 91 Boulevard de l'Hôpital in the 13th arrondissement, the Faculty of Medicine is set to undergo thermal refurbishment as well as an extension in the form of a new building to house a third place, a cafeteria and tutorial rooms for students. The new façade will embody the values of a hospital project that is resource-efficient and ambitious in its sustainable strategy. This will be achieved in particular through the extensive reuse of elements from the existing façade. The project includes just over 1,000 m² of outdoor spaces, designed by the agency’s landscape team.
